車で1時間ほどの所にある小さな町ダベンポート。町の中心にある商店街の一角での壁画の仕事でした。町の歴史を壁画に表すのが課題で、沢山の古い写真を眺めながらの作業でした。
Davenport is a small town about an hour from Oklahoma City. This project was on a shop's sidewall in the downtown area to represent the history of the city. So, we referenced many old photos of this town.
1日目はバックグラウンドを塗り、夜を待ってプロジェクターで壁に大きく書くイメージを映し出します。
The first day, we painted background. Then, we waited till nightfall to project images to the wall to outline.
This was a 3-day project.
この小さな町、以外にも有名な ”ルート66” 上にあるので、海外からのお客さんが結構来るらしいです。
町の小さなダイナー。 こういうレストランって、何故か惹かれます。
This little town is located on "Route 66". So, international travellers often stop by at this tiny diner. They had excellent food and fantastic service!
